Member states of the Organisation of Turkic States (OTS) have signed a memorandum of understanding in Baku to deepen cooperation on urban and territorial planning and sustainable development.
The agreement was concluded during the OTS High-Level Urban Dialogue held at the Azerbaijani pavilion at the Urban Expo, organised as part of the World Urban Forum 13 (WUF13), Caliber.Az reports via local media.
Thus, the ceremony brought together senior officials from participating countries, alongside representatives of municipalities, the private sector, academia and civil society.
Participants discussed urbanisation challenges across the Turkic region and explored joint approaches to sustainable city development, territorial planning and governance.
