The Ukrainian Armed Forces carried out their largest drone attack on Moscow and the surrounding region last week, according to Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry Rodion Miroshnik.


Speaking to Russian state news agency RIA Novosti, Miroshnik said Ukrainian forces launched at least 100 drones toward the Russian capital.


He claimed the strikes targeted residential and densely populated areas, resulting in civilian casualties and injuries.


“Last week, Kyiv forces carried out their largest attack on Moscow and the Moscow region,” Miroshnik said. “The strikes targeted residential areas and densely populated areas.”
