On May 17, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev held a phone conversation with President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, during which he extended birthday congratulations, wishing him strong health and continued success in his work.
He also conveyed his best wishes for the ongoing prosperity and development of the brotherly people of Kazakhstan, Caliber.Az reports via state media.
President Tokayev expressed his gratitude for the attention and sincere congratulations.
During the call, both leaders highlighted the successful development of friendly and fraternal relations between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan and exchanged views on expanding cooperation across multiple areas.
They also recalled with satisfaction the Informal Summit of Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States held on May 15 in the ancient city of Turkistan, emphasizing its importance for strengthening solidarity and multilateral cooperation within the Turkic world.
