Convoys carrying formerly displaced families have arrived in the cities of Khojaly as part of a resettlement programme involving several villages in the Khojaly district.


The families are being relocated to the villages of Badara, Tazabina, Khanyurdu, Khanabad, Ballija, and Dashbulaq, Caliber.Az reports via local media


Upon arrival, they were met by the representatives of the State Committee on Issues of Refugees and Forcibly Displaced Persons in the city of Khankandi and the Aghdara and Khojaly districts, as well as staff of the Restoration, Construction, and Management Service operating in the same areas.


Officials said that in this phase of the programme, 10 families (33 people) are being resettled to Badara village in Khojaly district, 10 families (60 people) to Tazabina village, 9 families (33 people) to Khanabad village, 4 families (22 people) to Ballija village, 4 families (918 people) to Khanyurdu village, and 4 families (13 people) to Dashbulaq village.


The relocated families are those who had been temporarily accommodated in different parts of the country, mainly in dormitories, sanatoriums, and administrative buildings.
