Kazakhstan has sent 30 wagons of humanitarian aid to Iran as part of a government-backed assistance initiative coordinated by several state institutions.


The humanitarian shipment was organized under a decree issued by the Kazakh government with the participation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Ministry of Health, and the international development agency KazAID, Caliber.Az reports, citing Kazakh media.


The cargo includes food supplies and medical assistance intended to support those affected in Iran.


The humanitarian aid will be transferred to the Iranian Red Crescent Society for distribution.
