Azerbaijani Justice Minister Farid Ahmadov has held a meeting with Pakistani counterpart Azam Nazeer Tarar during an official visit to the country, where the two sides highlighted the successful development of the strategic partnership between Baku and Islamabad across various fields.
They noted that a memorandum and cooperation program signed in 2024 will further strengthen bilateral relations, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.
Under an action plan prepared to implement the program, training sessions are scheduled to take place in Islamabad in May and October this year, and in Baku in July.
During the visit, the Azerbaijani minister also met with Chief Justice of Pakistan Yahya Afridi and Federal Constitutional Court Chief Justice Aminuddin Khan.
Their discussions focused on the importance of professional exchange in the legal field, noting that agreements signed between the two countries' justice ministries are contributing to the development of bilateral relations.
