Turkish Deputy Minister of Trade Sezai Uçarmak has stated that the escalation of tensions around Iran has created logistical challenges.
Speaking at the Russia–Islamic World: KazanForum, he said the current situation has disrupted transport routes, Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media.
According to him, to solve these problems Black Sea transport can be used very effectively.
“It would be a good alternative, a good support for the implementation of trade shipments,” the deputy minister said.
He noted that geopolitical developments should not be underestimated.
“On the one hand, they make things more difficult, but on the other hand, they open up new prospects for us,” Uçarmak added.
