Five workers suffered chlorine gas poisoning after an explosion at a factory in Iran’s north-central Semnan province on May 14, an official said.
Hossein Derakhshan, head of the Semnan branch of the Iranian Red Crescent, said the workers were rescued after the blast in Aradan Industrial Town, Iran International reports.
The cause of the explosion has not yet been determined, and local security services are currently conducting an investigation.
