The Israeli military has struck dozens of Hezbollah-linked targets in southern Lebanon over the past 24 hours, including command centres, observation posts, staging areas, and military buildings, the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) has stated.
In a statement on Telegram, it said approximately 45 Hezbollah sites were hit, Caliber.Az reports.
According to the statement, the targeted buildings were used for operational activities against Israeli forces and the State of Israel.
Around 10 weapons depots used by the group to store arms intended for attacks on IDF troops were also targeted.
In addition, Israeli air forces struck rocket launchers and eliminated militants who, the IDF said, posed a threat to forces operating south of the forward defence line.
Separately, the air force intercepted two unidentified aerial targets in an area where Israeli forces are deployed in southern Lebanon.
The IDF also reported that Hezbollah fired several rockets toward Israeli forces overnight on Tuesday. The rockets landed in open areas, and no casualties were reported among Israeli troops.
