Two servicemen of the Azerbaijani Army were injured on 11 May while carrying out official duties after detonating a mine in the Kalbajar district, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence.
According to the statement, the servicemen — Huseynov Mammad Alibaba oglu and Gaflanov Kamil Jamil oglu — were promptly evacuated to the nearest medical facility following the incident.
Medical officials confirmed that both personnel received immediate first aid. Their condition is currently described as stable, and they continue to receive treatment at a military medical institution.
An investigation has been launched to determine the circumstances surrounding the explosion.
