Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has expressed his country’s willingness to assist in efforts to address issues related to Iran’s nuclear program, the press service of the Kazakh presidency stated.

The statement followed a meeting between Tokayev and Brazilian Foreign Minister Mauro Vieira.

“The head of state expressed Kazakhstan’s willingness, as a gesture of goodwill, to assist in resolving the Iranian nuclear issue, provided that appropriate international agreements are reached and the matter is moved into a practical framework,” the statement noted.
