Iran’s nationwide internet blackout has entered its 73rd consecutive day, surpassing 1,728 hours of near-continuous disruption, according to internet monitoring group NetBlocks.
The watchdog said the prolonged outage continues to severely restrict access to the global internet across the country, leaving millions of users effectively cut off from normal online communication and services, Caliber.Az reports.
“Open internet access is a right that underpins all other liberties, and its deprivation severely limits the public’s ability to document and remediate fundamental human rights violations,” NetBlocks said in a statement on X.
