A very large crude carrier (VLCC), the Agios Fanourios I, passed through the Strait of Hormuz on May 10 using a shipping route designated by Iran, according to Tasnim News Agency.
The agency said the tanker was transporting Iraqi crude oil and had successfully crossed the strategic waterway before entering the Sea of Oman.
The vessel is currently en route to the port of Nghi Son in Vietnam.
