A U.S.-owned commercial vessel was attacked by two Iranian drones in the Persian Gulf on May 10, according to SV Anchan, chairman of Safesea Group, speaking to Fox News Digital.
According to the official, one of the drones struck the trade ship “Neha,” while the second drone missed its target.
The vessel was carrying 23 sailors at the time of the incident. No injuries were reported among the crew.
The ship was reportedly empty of cargo and anchored near Doha when the attack occurred.
