Iran is preparing “unexpected options” in response to any potential renewed attack by the United States, including new types of weapons and military equipment, according to Iranian army representative Mohammad Akraminia.
“If the United States makes the same mistake again and attacks our country, it will certainly face unexpected options. These will include more advanced and new equipment, new methods of warfare, and, most importantly, new domains,” he said in an interview with the IRNA news agency.
Akraminia added that in the event of an expansion of the conflict into new domains, Tehran would be able to “catch the enemy off guard,” arguing that Washington would be unable to anticipate such developments.
