The United Kingdom has seen serious disruptions across the rail network due to a malfunction in the radio system used for communication between train drivers and dispatchers.
National Rail said the incident occurred in the morning and is expected to cause delays of up to 90 minutes, as well as train cancellations, Caliber.Az reports, citing foreign media.
Disruptions are expected to continue at least until the end of the day.
According to the operator, the issue involves a technical fault in the radio communications system, which is critical for coordinating train movements.
Several railway companies have already warned passengers of significant delays and timetable changes.
