Iran has accused Bahrain of violating the rights of 69 individuals whose citizenship was revoked over allegations of supporting Iranian attacks against the kingdom.

Bahrain’s Interior Ministry announced the measures on April 27, accusing the individuals of sym Caliber.Az reports, citing Iran International.

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ismail Baghaei said the move reflects what he described as a “discriminatory approach” by Bahraini authorities.

“The Bahraini government cannot use these tactics to distract public opinion in this country and the region from its direct responsibility in supporting and accompanying the American-Israeli aggressors against the Iranian nation,” he added.
