Leader of Hungary’s election-winning Tisza party, Péter Magyar, has said he will begin negotiations in June with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.


His remarks were reported by Interfax.


Magyar noted that he had met with the mayor of the Ukrainian city of Berehove, Zoltán Babják, who informed him about the situation of ethnic Hungarians in Transcar

“Given the above, I will initiate a meeting in early June with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, symbolically in the city of Berehove, where a Hungarian majority resides,” the future Hungarian prime minister stressed.
