Russia launched a large-scale drone attack against Ukraine overnight on 27 April, deploying 94 strike UAVs of the “Shahed,” “Gerbera,” “Italmas,” and other types, around 60 of which were “Shahed” drones, according to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
By 09:00 local time, Ukrainian air defence systems had shot down or suppressed 74 drones across the north, south, and east of the country.
Armed Forces of Ukraine added that 20 drones struck 15 different locations. In addition, debris from downed UAVs fell at 11 separate sites.
