US President Donald Trump has said that American and Iranian officials may continue communication by telephone following the cancellation of a visit by US negotiators to Pakistan.
“We'll deal by telephone,” the president told reporters.
He added that representatives of the Islamic Republic can call the Americans “anytime they want.”
The American leader also stated that US negotiators do not wish to spend time traveling for in-person talks.
