US President Donald Trump has launched a sharp public attack on American conservative commentator Candace Owens, condemning her recent controversial claims about France’s First Lady, Brigitte Macron.
Writing on Truth Social, Trump criticised Owens in unusually direct terms, saying:
Owens has previously drawn widespread criticism for promoting unfounded claims, including assertions that Brigitte Macron is a man — a conspiracy theory that has circulated online and been repeatedly debunked.
