ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, April 25. Turkmenistan
and Tajikistan have discussed expanding bilateral cooperation in
the oil and gas sector, Trend reports via the press service of the Turkmen
Government.
The talks took place during a meeting between Deputy Chairman of
the Turkmen Cabinet Guvanch Agajanov and Tajikistan’s Ambassador to
Turkmenistan Niyatbekzoda Vafo.
The sides reviewed prospects for joint projects, expansion of
cooperation in upstream and downstream segments, and exchange of
experience in oil and gas production and processing.
Particular attention was given to diversification of energy
supply routes, reflecting broader efforts to strengthen regional
energy connectivity.
