Global oil prices fell after earlier gains following comments from a Pakistani government source indicating that Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi was expected to visit Islamabad on April 24.


Brent crude futures declined by 96 cents, or 0.9%, to $104.11 per barrel at 11:41 GMT, after rising more than 2.1% earlier in the session, Reuters reports. 


Meanwhile, U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures dropped $1.99, or 2.1%, to $93.86 per barrel, fully reversing earlier gains.
