Kuwait’s Defence Ministry has stated that two drones launched from Iraq struck northern border positions on April 24, causing material damage.

Spokesperson Colonel Saud Abd al-Aziz Al-Atwani said the attack targeted two sites along the country’s northern land border, Caliber.Az reports, citing the ministry.

Al-Atwani claimed the perpetrators used drones operated via a fibre-optic link, calling it “a malicious and aggressive attack”.

“The incident resulted in material damage, with no human casualties, thank God. The Ministry of Defence confirms that the competent authorities have immediately begun taking the necessary measures to respond to the incident,” the statement said.
