Hezbollah fired an anti-tank missile toward Israeli forces operating south of the forward line in southern Lebanon, the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) announced on Telegram.

According to the army, the anti-tank missile landed adjacent to IDF soldiers, with no injuries reported among the troops.

“This incident constitutes a blatant violation of the ceasefire agreement,” the IDF emphasised, adding that the army will continue to operate to remove threats to Israeli civilians and IDF soldiers.

In a separate development, the IDF said it eliminated a Hezbollah operative operating at a rocket launch site in southern Lebanon

The strike targeted a militant in the Sejoud area who was identified at a Hezbollah launch position and was “eliminated in an aerial strike” to prevent what it called a direct threat to northern Israeli communities, the army noted.
