Hungary’s newly elected prime minister, Péter Magyar, has said that Viktor Orbán effectively confirmed the political dependence of President Tamas Sulyok on the ruling Fidesz party.
The remarks were made in a post by Magyar on the social media platform X, Caliber.Az reports.
“Yesterday, PM Viktor Orban confirmed that Dr Tamas Sulyok, the President of Hungary, is a Fidesz puppet. Of course, signatures can be collected, but 3,385,000 of our fellow citizens voted for a complete political transformation — and for these figures to leave,” Magyar said in a post.
