Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced the completion of repair works on a section of the Druzhba oil pipeline, according to a post on his Telegram channel.

“As determined in communication with the European Union, Ukraine has completed repair works on the section of the Druzhba oil pipeline that was damaged by a Russian strike. The pipeline can resume its operation,” he said.

Zelenskyy added that the completion of the works on Druzhba is linked to the unblocking of a European support package for Ukraine, which was approved by the European Council.
