A member of Ukraine's Odesa City Council, identified as Alexander Ivanitsky of the “Trust the Deeds” faction, has been found dead with a gunshot wound.
Authorities said his body was discovered on the morning of April 20 in the Primorsky district of Odesa. He was found inside a car at the time of death, Caliber.Az reports per Ukrainian media.
Preliminary reports suggest the incident may have been a suicide involving a firearm, though investigators have not yet confirmed the circumstances.
Police have launched an investigation to determine the exact cause of death and are examining all possible scenarios.
