Public support for returning to the European Union is growing in the United Kingdom, ten years after the Brexit referendum.

According to The Guardian, citing a study by Best for Britain, 53% of British voters favour fully rejoining the EU rather than only participating in the single market.

Support for such a move is highest among Labour Party voters (83%), Liberal Democrats (84%), and supporters of the Green Party of England and Wales (82%).

At the same time, 39% of Conservative voters back the idea of rejoining, while only 18% of supporters of Reform UK support such a move.

Overall, 61% of respondents approve of the government’s current approach to relations with the EU, though only 19% express strong support for this policy.
