Iran’s ambassador to Uzbekistan, Mohammad Ali Eskandari, has said that Tehran continues to maintain good relations with Gulf states despite the consequences of a war initiated by the United States and Israel.

Eskandari stated during a meeting with journalists that Iran had preserved positive ties with Gulf countries, even amid regional tensions linked to the conflict. He also suggested that public sentiment in some of those countries was supportive of Iran’s retaliatory strikes against US military bases in the region, Caliber.Az reports via Russian media.

He further claimed that Gulf states had previously spent substantial sums on US security guarantees, while questioning Washington’s effectiveness in providing security to its allies.
