A landmine explosion injured a man in the village of Yusifjanli in Azerbaijan’s Aghdam district on March 26, 2026.
According to domestic media, the victim has been identified as local resident Jeyhun Abbasov Firdovsi oglu, born in 1985, who stepped on a landmine in the area.
Emergency response teams from the Azerbaijan Mine Action Agency (ANAMA) were dispatched to the scene, where efforts are ongoing to evacuate the injured man.
Authorities have launched an investigation into the circumstances of the incident.
