In Kyiv, “someone must take responsibility” and make the decisions necessary for the successful conclusion of Russian-Ukrainian negotiations, as Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov told journalist Pavel Zarubin, adding that Ukrainian authorities “perfectly know what needs to be done.”
According to Peskov, “ideally, this should be [President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy].”
