Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov briefed Moldovan Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mihai Popsoi on the March 5 drone attacks on Azerbaijan’s Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, which damaged civilian infrastructure, including an airport and a school, and caused injuries among civilians, during his official visit to Baku.

Bayramov held both one-on-one and extended meetings with his Moldovan counterprt, during which the ministers discussed ways to sustain and expand bilateral political dialogue and cooperation across sectors including the economy, energy, transport, and humanitarian initiatives, Caliber.Az reports per the ministry's post on X.

They also explored opportunities for coordination within international organisations, including the United Nations and the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE).

Bayramov also briefed Popsoi on the ongoing normalisation and peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
