An Israeli army spokesman, Avichay Adraee has indicated that the infrastructure of Al Qard Al Hassan, a Lebanese non-profit association linked to the Hezbollah movement, could be targeted in the near future.
Authorities have advised residents in potentially affected areas to exercise caution and evacuate if necessary, Caliber.Az reports.
Founded in 1983, Al Qard Al Hassan operates as a financial institution with 31 branches across Lebanon. According to reports, the network is used to fund Hezbollah’s activities, including purchasing weapons and paying salaries to militants.
