Authorities in Ulan-Ude, Russia, have prevented a 12-year-old schoolboy from carrying out a planned attack on his classmates, said Oleg Kudinov, Interior Minister for the Republic of Buryatia.


During a session of the People’s Khural, Kudinov stated that in 2026, in the Zheleznodorozhny district of Ulan-Ude, authorities successfully stopped the minor’s preparation for the planned murders, Caliber.Az reports via Russian media.


A criminal case has been opened under Article 30 (preparation and attempt of a crime) and Article 105 (murder) of the Russian Criminal Code.
