Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi said he had an excellent meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, expressing gratitude for the warm reception and noting his joy at returning to Israel after nine years.
In a Hebrew-language post on X, Modi emphasised that during the meeting, various topics focused on enhancing and solidifying the partnership between the two countries were discussed.
“I was pleased to return to Israel after nine years. We discussed a wide range of issues aimed at deepening and strengthening bilateral relations between our countries. Areas such as technology, water management, agriculture, human capital cooperation, and others have significant potential for expanding our collaboration,” Modi said.
The two leaders also exchanged detailed views on key developments in the region.
Modi arrived in Israel for a two-day official visit, and at Ben Gurion Airport, he was welcomed by Prime Minister Netanyahu.
