Iran will resume nuclear talks with the United States in Geneva to secure a balanced agreement, reiterating that it will never pursue nuclear weapons, a senior Iranian diplomat said.


Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi said on X that the upcoming talks will build on progress from previous rounds, Caliber.Az reports.



Araghchi reiterated Tehran’s long-standing position on its nuclear programme.



He described the current negotiations as a historic opportunity to address shared concerns.


“We have a historic opportunity to strike an unprecedented agreement that addresses mutual concerns and achieves mutual interests. A deal is within reach, but only if diplomacy is given priority,” Araghchi added.
