Iran’s Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, Ali Larijani, said on X that the country is preparing for negotiations with the United States.

He emphasised that the framework for the negotiations is continuing to progress, Caliber.Az reports.

“Despite the hype surrounding a fabricated media war, structural measures for the talks are moving forward,” he wrote.

Earlier, US President Donald Trump said his plan involves holding negotiations with Iran. He also reiterated that a massive fleet is being sent toward Iran, larger than the one currently deployed in Venezuela.

In response, Iran warned that even a single shot from the United States would trigger a massive retaliatory response.
