The first batch of power generators provided by the Polish government for Kyiv and surrounding communities has arrived in the Ukrainian capital, the Polish Embassy in Ukraine announced.
According to the embassy on X, the equipment was delivered by Poland’s Government Agency for Strategic Reserves and is intended to support critical infrastructure and residents in Kyiv and the wider region, Caliber.Az reports.
On January 29, Poland’s chargé d’affaires in Ukraine, Piotr Lukasiewicz, formally handed over the generators to Deputy Prime Minister Oleksiy Kuleba and the head of the Kyiv Regional Administration, Mykola Kalashnik.
The embassy said the delivery was made possible by rapid decisions taken by Prime Minister Donald Tusk and Minister Marcin Krawczyk, stressing that the equipment was urgently needed and had arrived on time. It added that the shipment reflects Poland’s continued support for Ukraine and solidarity with the residents of Kyiv and the surrounding region.
