The preventive measure applied to the former head of Armenia’s State Revenue Committee has been revised, with authorities replacing house arrest with administrative supervision.
According to the newspaper Zhoghovurd, as reported by Caliber.Az, the decision applies to Vardan Harutyunyan. The former official has been granted release on bail set at $790,000 and is additionally subject to a travel ban.
Harutyunyan is facing charges related to illegal business activities, violations of antitrust legislation, and money laundering.
