Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan expressed his gratitude to Russian President Vladimir Putin for Moscow’s support of the ongoing peace process between Yerevan and Baku.


Pashinyan made the remarks during a meeting with Putin in Saint Petersburg, Caliber.Az reports, citing Armenian media.


He emphasized that the formal conclusion of a peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan would create new avenues for strengthening Armenia’s bilateral relations with Russia.


Highlighting a tangible sign of progress in regional connectivity, Pashinyan described the resumption of train services to Armenia from Russia via Azerbaijan as a historic milestone.
