Three people have died, and another has been injured following a knife attack at a residential complex in southern China, Chinese state news agency Xinhua reported, citing local police.
The injured victim has been taken to the hospital for treatment.
According to authorities, the incident occurred at around 7 a.m. local time on December 19 at a residential complex in Xincheng, Laibin County.
Police have detained a suspect, though the motive behind the attack remains unclear.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
