Tensions flared in Kyiv’s Verkhovna Rada as MPs clashed over demands for the resignation of Ukraine’s military chief.
MP Maryana Bezuhla blocked the parliamentary podium before the start of the session, demanding the resignation of General Oleksandr Syrskyi, head of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Caliber.Az reports.
According to fellow MP Oleksii Honcharenko, the standoff escalated into a physical altercation between Bezuhla and MP Serhii Taruta.
