Azerbaijani president's aide Hikmet Hajiyev has shared a post about the Doha Forum on his X account.
"Doha Forum - Armenia Azerbaijan Lasting Peace: The Washington Accord and a Shared Future," the post reads.
Caliber.Az transcribes a video of Hajiyev's remarks at the forum, which highlights the Azerbaijani people's reaction to the August 8 Washington initial Azerbaijan-Armenia peace deal brokered by US President Donald Trump: "There was a huge revelation and positive reverberation in Azerbaijani society because we were waiting for the peace for the 30 years and finally it has been done as for the future generations it will save them from the unfortunate developments that we had in the early 90s and it will provide lasting in peace and we will strive for that."
