Large-scale exercises involving members of combat battalions and people from various sections of society have begun in Tehran and other Iranian cities.


The exercises, focused on self-sacrifice, began on September 18 with a parade in Tehran attended by 313,000 people, Tasnim reports.


Iranian-made drones were displayed during the ceremony, along with technological achievements in the development of unmanned aerial vehicles.


The Tehran Municipality said about 500,000 people had registered to take part in the exercises.
