The Organization of Turkic States (OTS) has emerged as a significant international organisation and has further potential to strengthen its regional and global role, a senior Turkish official said.

Ferhat Pirinçci, deputy head of the Public Relations Office of the Turkish Presidential Administration, made the remarks during a panel discussion titled “Dialogues of the Turkic World: A Shared Future, A Shared Vision” in Baku, Caliber.Az reports per local media.

Pirinçci said the OTS’s growing role was important for strengthening the organization’s position as both a regional and international actor.

“Nevertheless, the current state of affairs is not sufficient,” he said, adding that the OTS would continue its development because it has the potential and capacity to do so.
