Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has met Kim Bok-hwan, president and chief executive of the Korea Overseas Infrastructure and Urban Development Corporation (KIND), to discuss infrastructure and investment projects.
According to Kazakh media, the talks covered the development of Alatau City and the modernisation of Kazakhstan’s transport infrastructure, including the ports of Aktau and Kuryk.
The two sides also discussed plans to establish a Kazakh-Korean investment fund.
Three documents covering the development of Alatau Smart City and investment cooperation were signed following the meeting.
