Missile attacks targeted three camps belonging to Iranian Kurdish opposition groups east of Sulaimaniya in Iraq’s Kurdistan Region early September 14, two security sources announced.
No casualties were reported in the attacks, Iran International reports.
The sources did not identify those responsible for the strikes, and no group has claimed responsibility so far.
The attacks come amid heightened regional tensions involving Iran and Kurdish opposition groups operating from northern Iraq.
