An unidentified man entered the grounds of former US Vice President Kamala Harris’s home in Malibu, California.
The incident was reported by NBC News and the Associated Press, citing Harris’s spokesperson Eduardo Negrón. Security personnel stopped the intruder before he could enter the house.
Police arrived at the scene, filed a trespassing report and briefly detained the man before releasing him.
Harris purchased the property in December 2025. According to Negrón, neither Harris nor her husband was at home when the incident occurred.
In August 2025, US President Donald Trump ordered the withdrawal of Harris’s government-provided security detail, which had previously been expected to remain in place for another year.
