At least 150 civilians have been killed and more than 200 wounded in attacks by the Houthis in Yemen’s Taiz, Al-Hodeidah and Marib provinces since September 3, the country’s Ministry of Legal Affairs and Human Rights said.
The ministry also added that the number of internally displaced people in Yemen has reached 85,818 since the escalation of the conflict began.
During the same period, the three provinces recorded attacks on and looting of the headquarters of international organizations, homes and government institutions. Journalists, civil servants and government officials were also abducted, while extrajudicial executions and attacks on wounded people in medical facilities were reported.
The ministry called on the international community, particularly the United Nations, to take immediate action to halt attacks on civilians and protect displaced people, camps, evacuation convoys and medical facilities.
